Warning: Don’t Pay for Online Yellow Pages

Online Yellow Pages – paid version with AT&T Yellow Pages specifically – does not pay.

eGrowth Marketing tested for ourselves for 2 years and got ZERO results. Zero, nada, nothing. Last check today on that bill. Oh, and yes, I asked for a credit or free extension or something and got nothing. Nada, Zero, Zilch.

In the few cases where our clients have paid for online yellow page advertising, we see similar results. Not one case where the online pay ads have even just paid for themselves. General consensus of our client base is -

• Printed, book versions will at least track back to pay off or in some cases generate significant business. Yes, even today. Smaller ads then ever in the past – and those are working. Cut your print budget in half or more.
• Online paid placement is a total waste of time and money.

Conclusion – post the free listing available on Yellow Pages, Dex, etc….
